Getting to know local Real Estate Agent Dianne Rector

HUNTINGTON BEACH...This week we'll continue to get to know the people whose signs you may have seen on your neighborhood street corners that advertises an open house for sale or even who may have sold you your dream home in Huntington Beach.

This week we are privileged to get to know a Realtor who is not only a successful Realtor, but has also appeared in motion pictures, television shows, has served on several local committees and boards, appeared in Orange Coast magazine as one of Orange County's "Movers and Shakers" in real estate.

Rector has been featured in Good Housekeeping, Redbook and Womans Day magazines

This fabulous Realtor is none other than Dianne Rector who resides in Huntington Beach with her family for the past 49 years and is considered a hard worker who gives the highest degree of personal attention to her clients and is a top producers for the past several years. She has sold over 3/4 Billion in personal sales.

She has been in the real estate business selling property for 47 years and now her son and daughter are in the business.

In the mid 1960s she could be seen on television shows such as The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, My Favorite Martian, My Three Sons and The New Interns.

She is most proud of working with the "King of Rock n' Roll" Elvis Presley in his motion picture Roustabout.

"He was such a wonderful person to work with," said Rector.

She has also appeared in the 1964 motion picture "A House is Not a Home," under the name Diane Libby. The actors she appeared with in that movie include: Shelley Winters, Robert Taylor, Cesar Romero, Broderick Crawford, and Kaye Ballard.

Rector has volunteered on community boards and committees such as the Huntington Harbour Philharmonic, The American Heart Association and has helped out at Habitat for Humanity.

Today she is a real estate consultant for Keller Williams Realty in Huntington Beach.

Dianne married her high school sweetheart Rich Rector and they have two children, a son Rich and a daughter Libbie.

Rector can be spotted driving around town in her car by her license plate that reads "ISELLHB."
