HUNTINGTON BEACH...This week we'll continue our search to know about the people whose signs you may have seen on your neighborhood street corners that advertises an open house for sale or even who may have sold you your dream home in Huntington Beach.

The City of Moline, Illinois is nestled between the banks of the Mississippi and Rock Rivers and is famous for its downtown nightlife and its friendly people. It's a place you'll find restaurants serving everything from German brats to Thai noodles.

The City of Moline is also the birthplace of this week's Realator/Broker Associate, Robin Taylor and where she spent her younger days before traveling west to Orange County.

During those early times, Robin always felt that she wanted to help others and she has continues to feel that way throughout her lifetime.

Her first employment was at Spot Restaurant in Moline as a waitress making 90¢ an hour.

Now living in California she attended Cerritos College were she earned her AA degree.

Robin met her husband while working at Hughes Aircraft, before taking a job of Data Manager at McDonnall Douglas in the 1980s and early 90s.

It was after the downturn of the aerospace industry that Robin studied to be an Occupational Therapist that came about when her real estate husband was injured in a property accident.

Robin studied real estate law, took the test and became an real estste agent in 1998, that would lead her on the road to becoming a top professional agent.

She was so tickled when she sold her first house. "When I took the buyer out to show him the house, he asked me how many sales I had made. I didn't want to lie to him and told him he was the first," said Taylor.

She has worked at Coldwell Banker, Star Realty and Realty-One offices before joining American Realty Services Inc. 20902 Brookhurst St #103 in Huntington Beach. In that length of time Robbin has been awarded many real estate awards.

"You can go anywhere in the world in a book." said Robin. "I just love reading books for fun."

She says she is a surrogate mom to several neighbors cats and dogs and would one day like to have a video made of them and have it shown on America's Most Funniest.
