When dinner time arrived on the Newland ranch, Mary Newland or one of her daughters would ring the dinner bell (pictured above) to summon the family and the hands from the fields for their evening meal.

This brings us to the end of our tour of the historic Newland House Museum with scenes of family life on the ranch.

The house is open on the first and third Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 12 Noon. Please come about a half hour before closing time.

The house is closed on major holidays and on rainy days.
